One of the most important aspects of the MB-60EI system is its fire resistance class, which meets the EI15 or EI30 standards according to the PN-EN 13501-2+A1 standard. What's more, the doors can additionally meet the smoke tightness requirements in class S200, Sa according to PN-EN 13501-2+A1. This feature makes this system classified as non-fire spreading (NRO), which is crucial in the context of fire protection.
One of the unique features of the MB-60EI system is the possibility of using all typical fire-resistant glass panes of classes EI15 and EI30 with a thickness of 5 to 41 mm. Unlike many other fire-resistant systems, in MB-60EI the glass pane is mounted from the inside, using glazing beads. This special solution, together with special steel accessories, effectively protects the glass from falling out during a fire.
